Spicy Miso Ramen

I found a new flavor of ramen that I haven’t tried before! Maruchan’s Taste of Asia Spicy Miso Ramen πŸ™‚

neat!

What is miso, you may ask? πŸ™ƒ

I re-wrote it below:

Miso is a traditional Japanese seasoning made from fermented soybeans. When combined with our ramen broth we get a hearty soup that is robust and nutty in flavor. Try our version with an added spice note.

add 1 then 2

Add water, and while that microwaves for 3 minutes, I’m going to cut up some fake crab meat. I found this one at Walmart and it is very delicious! πŸ™‚

ready!

I added the flavor packet. It smelled so good! 😍

a very nice, yummy scent
in a bowl with the crab meat

It smelled delicious, but it wasn’t very spicy at all. However, my husband cooks cajun foods, so my view of “spicy” might be different than yours. All in all, it was very nice and flavorful ❀️

μ•ˆλ…•! Bye! Ciao!

Have you had some ramen today?

  1. I remember having my very first miso soup ever in my late teens and remembering absolutely loving the flavor. I can see why this bowl – with its spicyness – tastes good. I said it before but I really like how you add the fake crab into the mix. I bet it tastes great!

    • Oh, that’s awesome! Miso is super good πŸ™‚
And the fake crab is very versatile– I also add it to fried rice and it gives it a nice seafood flavor 😊 You can get creative with it.

Thanks so much for always stopping by and commenting ❀️ I hope you and your fam have a great week!

    • I’m so happy to hear that! I just love ramen, even though it’s such a simple food 😊 Yeah, the crab gives it a bit more flavor! Adding eggs, or cheese, or other meats makes ramen feel like a home-cooked meal, for real πŸ˜„
