I love, love, love seasonal candy! β€οΈ This time I found one of my favorite Easter candies: Peeps π€π£ with a bit of a twist. These are Peeps… Hot Tamales Flavor!

The moment I opened the package, the blast of cinnamon scent hit me! These definitely, definitely smell like the Hot Tamales candy π

These are the perfect mix of Peeps + Hot Tamales, with the pillowy softness that Peeps are known for, along with the tiny gritty crunch of the sugar crystals. Yum! π
I also bought the Party Cake Peeps, which I LOVED and blogged about here a year ago π
All of these I found at Walmart, not in the candy aisle, but the Easter gifts section. I hope you enjoy some yummy candy this spring! πΈ
μλ ! Bye! Ciao!

I haven’t had peeps in a LONG time! I think my favorite easter candy are those hard coated chocolate eggs. They come in pastel colors. I don’t know if you like chocolate but I do enjoy homemade easter peanut butter eggs, coconut eggs and buttercream eggs. No worries, I limit my intake! I am SO thankful for you!!!!!!

There’s a ton of Peeps at my local Walmart, like a whole wall of them. I couldn’t reach the ones I wanted and almost climbed that sucker, but then I got my tall husband to reach them for me. Hahaha I probably would have made it on the news, girl buried under a wall of Peeps…
Those sound really good, I think I know which you mean! I limit my intake, too. I like to enjoy the flavor, not just eat them π So thankful for you too, my friend! Hugs!!

I didn’t know they had hot tamale peeps! If I can find them here I may slip one into an Easter basket for fun! My daughter likes things spicy and eats peeps. This could be a huge hit for her!

This was my first time seeing them π If you find them and get them, I hope she enjoys them! They’re fun π

Mine would be a chocolate bunny, the solid ones that they had back in the day, not the hollow ones. But Peeps, never did like them. The Hot Tamale flavor might kick it up a notch, though.

It was always soooo disappointing biting into that bunny and finding him hollow π That’ll break a kid’s heart. The tamale and party cake Peeps are definitely worth a try π

As someone whoβs never tried hot tamales OR peeps. What are they? Are tamales just cinnamon flavoured sugar candy? Are peeps like marshmallows?

The Hot Tamales candies are gummies with a bit of a crisp shell. They’re shaped like a long pill, and are supposed to be spicy, but they’re really just very intense cinnamon. Kinda spicy, I guess, but not hot like Mexican tamales (the food).
And Peeps are marshmallows with sugary crystals. The Peeps are sold A LOT around Easter/Spring. They’re everywhere around this time! π
They basically just added a lot of cinnamon and red color to these π They’re both fun candies, but you’re really not missing out on much if you’ve never had ’em π€

I have never actually even tried peeps because I am not a bit marshmallow fan but some of these flavors sound not too bad. I never realized there were different flavors.

I had only seen them in different colors until recently. The various flavors look really fun and the ones I’ve tried taste good π

I love peeps!! I did a blog post about them quite awhile ago (you could probably find it on my blog by searching βpeepsβ). My grandma used to send them to us as kids. My mom let us eat them, but she always said βThose are just pure sugar!β πIβll have to be on the lookout for the cinnamon ones!
