…I’m over winter! Hahaha So I will share my Winter Favorites now βοΈ π
I just discovered K-pop, and Kai’s mini-album has been getting a lot of play in my room! μΉ΄μ΄’s music is so much fun! And wow, K-pop artists put so much time and effort into their music videos!
No, I have no idea what the Superb Owl commercial was all about— I didn’t hear it. We have a tendency to mute commercials and chat instead of watching them π Why would I watch commercials?
All I know is that Letter to You has been a fantastic album!! And here’s the kicker: this is my first time listening to Bruce Springsteen π
I know, I know! I’ve managed to live in the U.S. for this long, and I have never listened to this man. I don’t know how that happened, I just know that I really like this album! Maybe I should try his older albums, too. Any suggestions?

I also read Escape From Camp 14, which was recommended in my comments. That led me to want to know about the Korean War (why north and south?), so I read two more books on the topic. These were all amazing books! On Desperate Ground answered the big question I had: “Why did China help the North Koreans fight against U.S. forces?” It didn’t make sense. It seemed that China/Mao had nothing to gain. But now I know, and now I understand a little more Korean history.
Oh, and more music! I’ve been listening to a lot of Better Than Ezra, too. They are a fantastic band from the better LA.
And lastly… This sweater…
I’ve been super kawaii and super comfy in this SweatyRocks sweater from Amazon π Because it is in Asian sizes, I ordered the XL and it fit just right π (Asian sizes are smaller, not just in weight but also in height, arm length, everything).
It’s nice and baggy for comfort. The kitty ears are also very XL, as you can see! Hahaha But it’s just for lounging about at home. It is great quality and super warm and I just looooove it.

That’s cool you are reading books about the Korean War. I love studying history. My Grandapa fought in that war. He was part of a tank crew. I wrote a tribute post about him when he passed away in 2018. He earned several medals for his bravery in battle, including the Korean Service Ribbon. You’re rocking the kawaii look. I wish I was talented enough to pull it off! I have absolutely no fashion sense whatsoever so I live in hoodies. People are usually surprised when I tell them that I watch anime (not so much anymore…. no time). I may be a white girl but I think it was fate that I would end up marrying an Asian π

Wow, it is still very much winter where you live. IΒ΄m also over winter, canΒ΄t wait for spring and summer to be here and be able to do more things outdoors. Winter with the pandemic means too many hours spent at home. Thank you for sharing your whinter favorites!!
