I’ve had my eye on these items from Amazon since Christmas, and I finally made the purchase! They arrived last evening, and I am so stoked! π

I’ve been redoing my wardrobe inexpensively, adding more feminine styles with a hint of cuteness (hence, the bunny ears!). And of course, modest, too. I’ve been very inspired by the actresses in Korean dramas.

Everything fits very well! I’ve been very diligent about taking my measurements before buying anything online. You know the saying, “Measure twice, buy once.” Or something like that π

The knitted socks are a very pretty pink color, thick, and well-made.

The skirt is a somewhat thin material, but it has pockets!

All in all, I’m happy with my purchase. The total was $80 and all the items are good to mix and match with other pieces I have. I just need shoes, but those I have to buy in-person. I have chubby feet and need to try shoes on π

Modest doesn’t have to be boring π I also plan on doing blogs about slowly getting rid of jeans and wearing more skirts. Does this sound like something you would read?
μλ ! Bye! Ciao!

Hey, Yari. I gave myself a laugh reading this. I was just imagining me … a 63-year-old grandfather who’s not much into variation in my wardrobe … doing a similar post. “Here is me in my new gray shirt, new black pants, new black socks, and new black shoes … just like my five other pairs of the same.”
You do a great job with your posts … either keeping them light like this, or taking on serious topics. Keep up the good work, young lady!

Hahaha That almost describes my husband’s wardrobe, except his is blue. And I bet that would be a popular post! π It’s the simple everyday things that are nice π
And thank you so much. It makes me glad that you’re enjoying my blog π I’m also planning to share more of my faith, that way anyone who reads can see that being a Christian is not the ugly stereotype that is becoming so popular these days.

Glad you’re doing that. I look forward to reading those posts!
And I congratulate your husband for his great taste in clothes!

You are just too cute! So thankful for you! I used to wear A LOT of skirts, however, I have been doing more outdoor activities that donβt lend well to skirts. I am encouraged to hear you will also share more on your faith! Like David said, βyou do a great job with your posts.β Love and blessings!!!

Thanks so much, Mandy! π It’s definitely a challenge wearing skirts in these frosty Colorado winters! That’s why I’ll never fully say goodbye to my jeans. Hahaha
Both you and Mr. David have been great role models when it comes to sharing the faith online.
I am very inspired π€

Awww! I just emailed you back with a question you just answered! There is ZERO and I mean ZERO way I would wear a skirt in CO in the winter. Nope, not happening!!!

Oh, nice! π And as I look out the window and see the several inches of snow that dumped last night… yeah, I would have to agree! π

Cute outfit! Modest is always good! And yes, I would love to read blogs about modesty and skirts! I have worn only skirts and dresses since 1987 and I love it! Being dressed modestly makes you feel more feminine too, I think. ππ

The feminine styles doesn’t seem to be too popular here in the U.S. but I’m having a lot of fun choosing more feminine items. And I feel so pretty when I wear them! π Thanks so much and God bless!

Ahhh so cute! I love seeing how peopleβs wardrobes evolve. Me, Iβve been reinventing myself as well but I am sort of reverting to a more minimalist-gothy me, lots of skirts and dresses too. Itβs wonderful how alive it makes you feel, living your more authentic self.
Can you maybe clarify what dressing modestly means to you? For some reason, when I hear dressing modestly, only women of the Muslim faith come to mind and you being christian, Iβm sure your idea is different from theirs.
Do you mean no low cut tops / no skin tight clothing / no bare shoulders / long sleeve shirts only / skirts and trousers below the knee / no high heels / no sandals / …?
Also is dressing modestly more of a faith thing or more of a personal thing?

You know, other than seeing your haircut and your face in product reviews, I don’t think I’ve gotten a glimpse of your fashion style π€ Minimalist gothic sounds interesting! I’ve always loved gothic styles, but could never pull them off myself. Trust me, I tried, I failed π But I still love it.
The modesty has always been a personal choice. I became a Christian in 2018, and they do encourage modesty, but I’ve been this way since high school.
I honestly just didn’t like the type of attention I got when wearing low-cuts or short-shorts. And when I was on my own at 16, I had no one to protect me but myself, so then I reeeally didn’t like that type of attention.
Christianity definitely promotes modesty in women, but I’ve seen girls at church with super short-shorts (summer) and it’s like, well, at least they’re here. Let’s focus on good character and maybe work on the modesty later π

Hi, Ms. Lena Rae! Thanks so much for your comment. There’s a bit of a stressful story behind my writing blog, but I decided to suspend it. I’m very sorry if you were enjoying it, I just could not keep it βΉοΈ
And yes, absolutely π Feel free to use any part, I don’t mind. Have a wonderful day and God bless!

Your outfit is sooooooo CUTE!!! I love the color combination of red and light brown, and the plaid print is super sweet. The bunny purse is adorable!! Those floppy ears! The socks are such a pretty shade of pink. π Blogs about going from jeans to more skirts – I’d read it!

Thank you! π I’m so happy with the purse. It’s good quality and one of the very few that was a bunny, but not made for children π
And cool! I’m glad to hear that would interest you. For a long time I wore nothing but jeans, so this is new to me π Thanks for stopping by! β€οΈβ€οΈ
