Last week I made banana bread for the first time! I want to save the recipe here in my blog, and if you live at high altitude, this recipe might work for you, too 🙂
I also tried doing a vlog for the first time, so here is that video!
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup melted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup mashed banana (about 2 bananas)
1 tsp vanilla
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients and stir them together (flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon).
- In a large mixing bowl (the mixer bowl), mix together melted butter and brown sugar. Add in mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until all is well combined.
- Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix them until all is well incorporated. That’s your banana bread mix! 🙂
- Pour banana bread mix into greased loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes, or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
I was very happy with the way it came out! My husband enjoyed it, and even my dog had a little bit 😄 😁 Doing the vlog was fun, too. Here are a couple of photos:
I might do more simple vlogs in the future, maybe practicing my Italian or Korean, or just something simple for fun? 🙂 I dunno yet.
