I had many personal happy moments in 2020, but I gotta say that the most unexpectedly awesome moment for me was watching the NASA, SpaceX launch of Falcon 9 live! 😍
It happened back in May 30th, 2020. My husband put it on TV, and I didn’t think much of it at first, until the grandeur of the moment started to hit me: I’m watching two men go into space, live. Oh, God, please let them make it!
We started watching early, and I was on the edge of my seat during the countdown. Here is the video:
It was such a relief when they made it!! 🥳 It was a very happy, positive moment in an otherwise rough year, and I am so glad that those men made it safe and sound.
You’re invited to share your highlight of 2020 in the comments 🙂
I wish you a happy, wonderful, Merry Christmas! 💖

That is super cool you enjoyed watching the lift off!! I’m glad they made it safely too; you just never know, as I remember seeing the Space Shuttle Columbia tragedy aired live back in 2003. I’m glad this was a successful event! Wishing you a very merry Christmas! 💖

Oh, that must have been sad. I was so nervous for this one, it surprised me! Thanks so much and Merry Christmas to you too 🙂

Great post! I watched it live and it took me back to when I watched the first space shuttle launch when I was 10 years old and home sick from school. I felt so great knowing that the space program would continue because, honestly, I didn’t think they’d bring it back.

It sure was. It makes me glad I was sick that day, otherwise I would’ve been in school and missed it. Those days were the best!
