Flimsy to Modest

Now that the weather is a bit more Autumn-like, I’ve been playing around layering my clothes. I’ve always enjoyed dressing modestly, and today I’m taking this cheap Amazon dress from flimsy to modest:

too thin and strappy

I’m going to add a few more ingredients, such as a t-shirt, jean jacket, and petticoat.

The result is quite nice! Now I can take this at-home-only dress and wear it out πŸ™‚

I like to tie my t-shirt at the waist to accentuate that natural feminine curve. Or, if you have a crop top, you can make your crop top a bit more modest by using it in this fashion.

The petticoat adds thickness to the skirt, and the jean jacket pulls it all together.

you can also untuck it or button up the jacket for different looks, to give your body different “sections”

Pretty cool, huh? πŸ™‚

I’m so happy that the weather is finally cooling off (it already snowed here in Colorado!) and I can’t hardly wait for everything to be pumpkin spice and cinnamon πŸ‚

  8. Don’t like pumpkin; do like autumn. It’s cool enough to do everything, especially strenuous tasks, without breaking into a sweat, at least, not right away.
