안녕하세요! 자리리사입니다. Ciao! Mi chiamo Jarilissa.
Hello! I’m Jarilissa 🙂 ❤️
I have something cute, small, and simple to show you today. I don’t know why I started this, I probably saw the idea on YouTube somewhere, but this is a good habit 🙂
This is my productivity notebook!

(plus dog butt)
When I wake up, I cuddle on the couch with my throw blanket, sip on hot coffee (dark; puts hair on my chest 😁), and I write down my goals and my thoughts for the day ☕

simple goals
I’m a stay-at-home everything (although, aren’t we all?) and writing down my goals, no matter how big or small, helps keep me focused. Sometimes they’re simple goals, like doing my hair (which takes an hour!), or cleaning certain part of the house, or doing laundry. Other times it’s studying my languages for an hour, reminding myself to eat well, or scheduling an appointment.
Whatever I want to accomplish in a day, I write down.
I make tabs to separate each month.

I just love lists and checking off items 😍 Hehehe
This is my new notebook for this second half of the year:

Aside from daily goals, I also do monthly goals. Some past monthly goals I achieved include learning to use chopsticks, finishing my to-be-read list, deleting Instagram, and working out 3 x per week.

It’s such a simple thing that helps so much 🙂
Do you like to-do lists?
안녕! Bye! Ciao!

I do this as well. I love my notebook!

I love lists because you get to cross things off when they’re completed 😀I tried doing a “bullet journal” once and even did a blog post about it, but didn’t really keep up with it for too long. I still like the concept though. Your hair is absolutely beautiful by the way!

It’s so satisfying to cross off items! And thanks for the compliment 🙂

I am also a “list” person. I tend to write down everythingIi need to do. It’s so much fun to cross it off! Blessings, Jarilissima!

Do you ever write down something you’ve already done just for the satisfaction of checking it off? 😉

I can’t do without my diary. I had one in secondary school, then stopped using one for a few years during uni and during those first few jobs fresh out of uni, and realised a few years down the line that I needed to record the things I needed to get done in writing in order for me to remember stuff and stay organised.
I also had to have those records with me at all times. Mobile phones and electronic calendars don’t work for me. It had to be a calendar type of diary. For the past 5 years I’ve been using one from Emart (Korean supermarket chain) which is a cross between a yearly calendar and a bullet journal and that mix of structure and empty space for random thoughts has been so helpful in staying productive and getting stuff done!

Also ㄴㅇㄴ at the dog butts! We all need some more of those!
And can I just say judging from your hair and track suit (loungewear?) you look like you take great care of yourself and I wanted to say well done. In my thirties now myself and I really love seeing people age well & gracefully. We all get older, metabolism slows down, those greys start growing in, I get it. Ageing is a privilege. But at the same time it’s nice to look after yourself.

Hahaha He always walks by, so his butt is in a lot of pictures 😄
And thank you! I don’t eat American food portions (way too big) and I don’t drink colas, which makes a big difference. Working out at home or dancing is also something I enjoy. Also now that I’m nearly 40, junk food makes me feel like a train hit me, so I try not to eat too much of it 😅

I have my lists in an app on my phone. Maybe not as satisfying as checking off items on a piece of paper, but it does cut down on the clutter. 😉
